Working with a wide variety of clients has enabled me to enjoy a great cross-section of business cultures. I've become a good listener and this is absolutely vital in coming up with a pragmatic solutions for clients that work at a personal level.

Away from the office I pursue my children, golf balls and an interest in things Italian – food, wine and language.

Kate Dudley

My early experience at the Inland Revenue Department provided a strong base for my special interest in tax work. By 1997 I was a sole practitioner based in Newmarket, providing business and tax consultancy to clients from all walks of life.

These days I have a special interest in accounting for the entertainment industry and I particularly enjoy working closely with my clients to understand their business and achieve solutions.

I am the Human Resource Director for the firm and a member of the Walker Wayland Australasian Executive.

 Kirit Lal

My expertise lies in servicing small to medium enterprises in all areas of their business. I add value by identifying tax saving opportunities, implementing business system improvement processes and maximising return on investment for my clients.

Outside work, my interest lies in computer products and computer games, following cricket, watching movies and socialising with friends and family.

Robin Seal

I get a buzz out of helping people to run their businesses better -  with the goal of improved profits, lower risk and a better lifestyle. With more than 25 years experience in advising small businesses, its great to be able to get alongside a business owner to work towards the best solution for them, whilst adapting to change and having some fun along the way. 

I founded a Chartered Accounting firm in Ponsonby nearly 20 years ago, and the merging of our practices with Walker Wayland in 2016 provides new opportunities for me to help businesses in the Business Planning, Improvement and Board Governance roles. 

I joined the Walker Wayland team in 2005 in an administration role after studying business for 4 years at AUT and subsequently became part of the accounting team a year later working for Kate Dudley. Being an investment property owner myself I have a special interest in residential rental property accounting.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, supporting the RCC cricket team and hanging out in the sunshine.

Alistair Ward

My work has developed from business services, accounting and tax to a broad interest in management, human resources, directorships and the occasional dispute resolution. Corporate governance and franchising are two more areas in which I have an active interest – and it doesn't end there. Peter Barraud

I completed my Bachelor of Business Information Management at the University of Auckland in 2007 prior to joining Walker Wayland as a graduate in February 2009.

I am a Chartered Accountant and predominantly work with Kirit Lal and Nick Self here at Walker Wayland.

I enjoy most sports especially Rugby and Cricket, I also enjoy music.

Outside of the office I enjoy most sports, spending time with my family and getting out for a fish whenever possible.

I am a qualified Chartered Accountant and have 10 years experience in Business Advisory Services.  I also spent several years in the UK working in systems and management accounting.  I enjoy working with clients across a variety of industries. 

Outside of work I enjoy travel and a range of outdoor activities.

I joined Walker Wayland in March 2014 after spending 3 years working for a small accounting firm in Auckland. I have a Bachelor of Accountancy and am currently studying towards my CA qualification. Outside of work I enjoy cooking, baking, watching movies and shopping.

I joined the firm in 2004 as a Business Services Manager working with Sandy Nelson. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant with 14 years experience in Public Practice taxation and business services, with a further 4 years experience in the commercial sector.

Prior to my work experience I gained a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Auckland.

I enjoy nature, wildlife and going for bush walks.

Yvonne McBride

I am the Tax Manager and also assist with practice administration. I am the longest serving employee having been with the firm for over 15 years.

Prior to joining Walker Wayland I ran my taxation return preparation service in Brisbane for small to medium businesses.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends especially my granddaughter. I also love dancing and listening to music.

Paul Watkinson

I've been involved in Chartered Accounting for almost thirty years. During that time I have developed a good grounding in the many facets of accounting. I especially enjoy training and assisting clients in getting accurate and timely financial information so that they can run their business more efficiently and effectively.

Outside work I transport my three boys to all their activities throughout Auckland, and try and maintain some semblance of fitness.

Debbie Brown

I have been working with Walker Wayland since March 2008 as a business advisory services accountant, having previously worked in a rural accounting background. 

I am a Chartered Accountant and have a Bachelor of Business Studies and a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accountancy.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with good friends, gardening and exploring the great outdoors.

Stella Hodgson

I have been on the admin team here at Walker Wayland since 2013.

Previously, I was an Au Pair in Austria, I enjoyed the opportunity to see such a beautiful country and loved living in Europe.  I have worked in boutique law firms in Wellington and here in Auckland.

Growing up in the Waikato, I like to get outside for some nature and fresh air, I also have a passion for fine food and am often checking out the hot spots around the city with my friends.

Alida van Klink

I have recently joined the business advisory services team  at Walker Wayland, having previously worked as a tax consultant at a Big 4 firm. I am looking forward to getting more exposure to accounting work, further developing my tax skills, and studying towards becoming a Chartered Accountant.

I have a BCom in Accounting and Commercial Law, and a BCom(Hons) in Commercial Law. Prior to that I also completed a BA in Social Anthropology.

In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, catching up with friends and family, and spending time with my partner.

I have a Bachelors of Business in Accounting and Finance and I am currently working towards completing the Chartered Accountancy Program.

I have gained valuable knowledge and skills working with a range of business since beginning my professional career in 2012. I am looking forward to further developing my career at Walker Wayland.

Outside of work I enjoy outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.

I have recently joined the Walker Wayland team in the BAS division. I have moved from an Audit background in a large firm and before that I completed my conjoint degree in Accounting and Population Health Science.  I am currently half way through studying the Charted Accountancy program and look forward to completing it in 2017. 

I enjoy Indoor netball, Snowboarding, camping and Netflix.

Outside work, I enjoy catching up with friends, watching movies, exploring new places, going to the beach on summer and snowboarding on winter.
